Hi guys,

Anyone have any experience with a MF 1120? I've found one for sale recently for $3000. Unfortunately the man says the hours are unknown bc the meter is broken, however the machine itself looks to be in fairly good shape. I'm thinking of going to go take a look sometime this weekend...

This would be my first tractor. I only live on 2 acres. Wouldn't be using it to mow, just to move downed trees, some light stone and dirt, would like to be able to run a bush hog...

Would this machine suffice?

Good Morning Sw,

That tractor is too small if you want to run a bush hog. The PTO is rated at 13HP, which is not enough to run a 4' bush hog. Rule-of-thumb is 5HP per foot of cutting width, you can get by with less, but you will likely be disappointed.

just can't go into the tall grass with a full width cut

A tractor with a loader would be pretty handy
