My cub cadet is trying to continue moving after taking foot off accelator. The drive belt continues to turn the transmission pulley. If that makes sense. The drive belt I think is suppose to go slack enough so it doesn’t turn pulley. Is that correct? If so what exactly happen when you release the accelerator that effects this? I put a brand new belt on yesterday and it ran perfect if you took your foot off accelerator pedal the tractor stopped. Then after about 15 minutes when you take your foot off accelerator it would slow down to almost a stop but would continue to move. Brake pedal won’t even stop it.
