This part sheered in two and I need a new one. But impossible to find without knowing the name. I need it to use any attachments. It needs to be good strong steel, not some cheap China part.

If it's kubota...i believe they refer to it as a stabilizer bar. Tho to me it would be a lift arm mounting bar. B.

It is an old Kubota, I do not know the model? I can take a photo maybe will that help? It is a small compact tractor probably 1960$

Any piece of round bar should work just fine.

Looks very similar to a B7100.

Hardened rod would just complicate the drilling of the hole in each end to secure it.

Odd that it broke unless it was a cast part which is doubtfull.

I would take the piece left and take it to a locale machine shop and ask for a matching cold rolled piece of round bar stock ...

It had a small hole drilled through the middle. It sheared clean in two where hole was.

Yes. I am trying two separate rods not joined in center. Hoping they do not break.

You may not want to do 2 separate rods..they may put too much lateral pressure on the tractor castings' ears and you'll be in worse shape than you are!! B.

Asking for trouble with 2 rods.

If the casting /ears snap off you will be in big trouble.

One rod is pretty simple.....may have to take one tire off to get it to slide through.

If you drilled that center hole, the bar was not hardened, and any cold rolled steel will do the trick. Take a file to the old piece to see if it is hardened. you might also touch it to a grinding wheel to see what the sparks look like and compare them to a piece of cold rolled mild steel stock.

It's cold steel. Measure the length you need. take a piece to a metal supplier. They will cut the length you need. Drill a couple holes and you are done. Cheaper than buying the part from Kubota. have a beer with the money you saved.
