When I start the tractor, the initial battery charging voltage reads out between 11 and 12V. Under normal operating conditions the charging voltage will be a little over 14V. If it takes more than 30-35 seconds after startup for the charging voltage to jump up to 14+V, an error code appears...
My 82 Ford 2600 diesel isn't charging. I've replaced both the alternator and regulator. Any pointers on where or what to check next?
There are no obvious breaks or shorts in the wiring.
I'm at a loss and pulling my hair out.
I'm thinking about getting a Kubota B6200HST.
The alternator light stays on for 2 hours or so then goes out.
No other electrical issues i'm told.
