AFTER MARKET FENDERS
Does anyone have experience purchasing aftermarket or salvaging sheet metal for older tractors? Does anyone sell truly faithful reproductions? Original style brackets, same heavy gauge skins, etc. I have what are probably the best OEM fenders for a 68 Ford 2000 available in my state but they are 50 years old. While this is a "working" tractor, I am trying to eradicate the abuse levied by the original owner, who was apparently a heavy drinker.
The right side fender is only suffering from age with rust running out from between fender skin and the bracket. Paint shop says that once started, this will continue regardless of what is done to the visible areas of the fender assembly. -
New holland boomer leaking oil
2013 New Holland Boomer 35
Oil is coming from this plate when the tractor is running. The cotter pin was sitting in this plate just like this when I found it. The hole doesn’t appear to be threaded so I do t think I’m missing some kind of plug. Maybe this is where a mid pto would connect??? -

1948 Farmall Cub ---- Getting her ready for the Tractor Parade 8/2018
I have been working on it for the last two weeks or so off and on, and it occurred to me that I should make a Build/Repair thread to track the progress.
First thing I needed to do was replace the blown out rear main seal which prevented me from going to the Tractor parade this year, I was going to take it to the parade in it's work clothes but now that she is mostly apart I will clean it up and paint it. -
My Kubota b2410
This little machine had a hard life before I got my grubby mitts on it, pushing snow and salt spreading, so it had a fair bit of rust underneath.
I have got on top of the rot, with just a couple of brake rods to fabricate as the adjusting threads are locked solid. -
