I have about 985 hours on this machine. Great little mower. VERY maneuvable and GREAT on steep slopes. Burns about a gallon of gas an hour. (it is a bit of a fuel hog)

You just got to love the F Series mowers.

I have a 1998 F510 with 38" deck to mow my 2 1/2 acre lawn.

Does a good job for me.

Even faster than my 1971 JD 140 H3 with a 48" deck.

Interesting looking machine, but a very maneuverable mower I bet.

Howdy,

Have you ever had to put a transmission gasket kit on your 525? Got one that is leaking oil from left side. Inside wheel. I am guessing it is a gasket or o ring in the transmission drive shaft/axle housing. Going to
try doing this kit myself -could be a challenge.
