Tom, I have a '50 also. When I pull my oil cap, it's a white milky looking gooo. Pull the dip stick and

Welcome aboard Andy; I have a '50 8-N also. Not sure of the temp swing in your part of Az. but cooling

Put the battery on a trickle charger until charged. Or replace the battery with new if it is old. See how
