I'll have to get some information on how to attack this seal issue. I thought maybe I would jack it up
with a front end loader and check out the bottom side, or find out if all this work is done from ...

I figured that was where I was going with this problem. Hopefully it won't be a major job. Thanks for
    taking the time to respond.DonnieJoe

I have a Woods M5 model brush hog that I bought that had been sitting for a long time. I was told to put
80/90 weight gear lube in the gear box. I've done that and the gear lube runs through the botto...

Cheers,Thanks for the insight. I'm somewhat learning the hard way, but having fun doing so. I'm getting
the impression that the Dearborn plow was meant more for the Ford than the AC. I can see where i...

Jeff,'Thank you for your information. I think your right, I will say something to Ken, he's pretty handy
at putting things together. The 17 is handy, and I'm learning, it is fun. I just don't want to ...

I'm trying to plow with a Dearborn two bottom plow with my D17. The plow did not seem to line up right

I have a late 40's, early 50's model 8N. I assume it would be a good idea to put an in line fuel filter
on the gas line. I have seen filters at supply house, Wal-Mart, and other places. What is a good...

I have an old D17 and I assume it would be good to put an in line gas filter in the fuel line. I have

Sorry I haven't been more active in the forum.

I'm just getting the hang of it. Also been busy with house, health, and work issues.

I bought some land about six years ago, picked up a couple of tractors and am having a ball
with them and learning about ag equipment. I feel like a kid with his first car. I just had shoulder surgery last Friday so typing with one hand slows me down a lot.

I'll post my old tractors once i figure out how.

I wasn't born
or raised on a farm but I do understand quite a bit of it. I'm located in west central Illinois where corn, beans, and cows are big.

Both of my tractors run pretty good. I don't think I want to get them to show quality because I
intend to use them but I'd like to keep them descent and use them.

I don't farm my land personally but I intend to use my equipment to keep the land up and do maintenance on it.
