WD45 rim color

I am restoring a wd45 that has a rim color of silver or gray. I can't tell for sure. Is there someone out there that might know? The dish is AC orange but the rim is the silver or gray.
This tractor has not been messed with and it came from the original owner, straight from the farm.
If you can help, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
jack

Rim Color

What would you think about it being galvanized? Is that a possibility? The more I work on it I am beginning to think that might be it. However, if it was galvanized at one time then I can only paint it silver to come close. I know that paint does not stick to galvanization very well so i will have to prime it. Just more work.
Thanks for your help in replying.
Have a great day....

I dont know for sure about the wd45 but I grew up driving a D-15 and it was all orginal and bought new by my grandfather. The tractor was orange and the rims were white. There are several listed on tractorhouse.com maybe that will help you decide.

Rim color

Thanks for the thought. I will check them out on Tractorhouse
It is a little iffy when the rim has a lot of surface rust. It just didn't look like orange.
Thanks for the reply,
jack
