Deutz-Allis 6150
I have a question for anyone out-there. I own a Deutz-Allis 6150 tractor rated at about 52-54 horsepower. My question is, would this tractor be able to handle a 3-point mounted International 3082 backhoe. Would this be a good combination between tractor and hoe? I have spoken to a few Agco dealers who have worked on Deutz-Allis tractors for years, but have not found anyone that has seen a backhoe mounted on one. There are numerous posts of 3-pt. hoes ruining and over-stressing the tractor, and even breaking the top-link mount and housing. Does anyone have any experience with the strength of these tractors used with a backhoe. I have a loader mounted on the front and could fabricate a sub-frame that would tie into the loader mountings but, can I use the hoe with only the 3-pt. and be okay. My intention is to remove black walnut, and evergreen/pine stumps ranging in size from about 4-10" in diamater.
Looking for any input and advice.
Thanks, Brian
