AC5015

hello,

I just purchased AC 5015 with few questions.
What motor oil should i use? HD30 or multi 10-30?
How often should i adjust the valve lash?
The starter clicks then cycle the key few time, starter would engage. i'm thinking solenoid, contacts?
where to purchase a good shop manual that's affordable?

Hello AC5015 i think all you questions will be clarified after you have the tractor's manual. I have found the AC 5015 tractor manual at jensales.com .....before i was also lost like you and it feels so frustrated but one of my mate told be about this site and it was really Cheap!

I have a 5020 and I have been using 10w40 in mine for years now,, just make sure its diesel rated oil. Valve lash adjustment,, how many hours are on it? I can tell ya Ive never taken the valve cover off mine, its an 84 and has just over 1k hrs. Your starter issue could be a number of possibilities, best to put a meter on the solenoid and check voltages to determine the problem component.
