Date this Oliver

Hi All! I'm new to the site and excited to be here. My Grandpa was a Oliver-only user. He farmed 426 acres. I hung out on his tractors a lot when I was a kid. He has long been deceased, and I'm having an interest in Olivers again. I now live on the family farm, and will (hopefully) take over the management of it someday. I have a picture of when I was a kid on his favorite 1855 tractor, but I have no idea what year it is, and my Grandma doesn't have a clue. Is there any way that I could find out the year of it by the picture? I was born in '75, and guess that I was around 5 or 6 in the picture. I know its not much to go on, but I'm hoping someone will notice something. My goal is to eventually purchase one like it and restore it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The Model 1855 was produced from 1969 to 1975. If you had the serial number on the instrument panel (lower left) this would be easier. Do you know which dealer sold him the tractor? You might try there. Try a post to Yesterdays tractor, J Scheibert (spelling?) might be able to help he is a guru with these tractors. Where in Northwest Ohio are you located? I am just north of Toledo.

They were made from 1969 until 1975 - if that helps....
