DR's electric log splitter is GREAT!

My daughter bought one of these puppies 5 years ago. I thought that I needed to buy one, but came to realize that 'IF I had too much wood at MY house and offered to 'share', that she would bring hers here'!

It DOES have 'limits', but it never ceases to amaze me at what it will DO!
It has split logs that a machine 2 times its 'price' couldn't!
It runs about $500. Will fit in your Vega hatchback, plugs into 110 house current and one person can pick it up.
She calls it the 'Wood Doctor', since it has a big "DR" on the sides!

We waded through 3 cords of a hugh oak saturday in 4 hours, there were only 7 'knotty' pieces it wouldn't split.

Since I usually do that alone, I can't really run the camera too.
I can throw down some 'stills'.
