Hi, just bought a "new" ford 8 n.
What is the small (about 3" long) lever under the seat an the right hand side near the lift control. Also about what oil preaure does this thing run?

Welcome to the forum! No idea on the 8N. We had one briefly when I was a kid, but I can't remember the levers as it's been well over 30 darn years. Sorry!

Should be the PTO lever..

No idea what oil PSI is should run. My old 9N didn't have a working gauge on it. LOL.


Oh, I would also advise you to read up on articles about when the tractor doesn't want to crank but will turn over.

You will have a good time working on it.
