801 sos

Hello All ,
I am working on a 1958 801 SOS and would like to know if anyone is reproducing the position lable for the SOS shifter , The one I have is clear except for the area from the top to the line that has the -N- , I am sure the top with the -P- reads parking , below that is R2-2.8 ?? the next line R1-1.9 28.35 if someone can tell
what is correct and no one is making the lable I think I will have a new one made.
Thank you
Jim

I posted your question on another forum and got the following response from a man named Dave Warden:

"Starts in Park,R2,R1 and then 1st through 10 and then red lines through certain gears to show free wheeling. As far as decal, would have to buy a whole set for tractor".

Hope this makes sense to you. Dave says that he has a shift position decal for a '61 Ford if you want it. Let me know if you want it..

Here's a note from JohnSmith8N: "I don't have an extra one, but this is what the decal looks like".

Here's a source from ford9000puller:

"You can buy just the shifter decal from George Bradish Tractor parts. Here is the website George Bradish Tractor parts "

Looks like they have alot of decals you don't see anywhere else.

Hi,
I want to thank everyone that responded it would be out of place to have all new gages and paint and then look down and see a faded shift label ,
I have been hammering out the dents should be ready for paint soon ,
I will be glad to get it back together this is the frist time it has been out of commission in 30 years .
Regards ,
Jim
