Hey all, I'm new 2 this forum. I have a problem with my Ford 801. When I'm on a slant and the tractor is leaning to the right, I get some popping sound from the right axle area. Sounds like metal bumping against metal. My tractor has the rims that you can run in or out and I originally thought it was the rim tilting and making the noise. Unfortunately, that isn't the problem and the noise is becoming more pronounced. Anyone else with a 801 have this problem? Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum Mike! Don't have an 801, but you have verified that the rim and center are all tight? No expert at all, but I would jack it up and turn the wheel by hand and see if you can detect bad bearings or something in the rear end. Hope it's nothing major.
