Yanmar deck

I bought a yanmar ym146 not to long ago and it did not come with a mowing deck I found a guy who is selling one for $375 he said that everything is there and all is needs is new bearings. I haven't seen any picture or anything yet. Do you think this is a okay price? That seems pretty high up there for just a deck. Also for some reason my hydraulics are acting up. In the rear there's a threaded rod that's attached to two metal brackets that are connected to the cylinder. I can push down on that bar and raise it up with the cylinder but the cylinder won't go down on its own. The reservoir is filled with I think it's hydraulic fluid. I just changed the oil today and it runs and drives nice all I need is the deck.

Howdy Ryanac710, welcome to the tractor forum.

I think that's not a bad price, but you have to see it and pass judgment. You might try to bargain him down in price based on bearing replacement work involved and costs. The other factor is he's not likely going to sell it anytime soon.

I did a search for mower decks on ebay and found none as low as $375.

The hydraulic issue really isn't an issue if I'm understanding that. It's a single acting cylinder, so it may just need weight on it to lower.
