Why Are All Chinese Tractors In Thr Cut Forum?
Why are there no Chinese tractors in the big tractor list? My 60 hp Foton is not a compact tractor, neither is the 125 hp and 145 hp versions. PJ
This is not a compact and is also one extremely good tractor! No problems with ours in 3 solid years of work!

As it turns out, we're in the process of addressing this now...........

That is a cool looking tractor! I never knew that they made them that size. Thanks for enlightening us. How about some pictures of yours?

My 60hp Foton. It weighs over 9000 lbs! Has a Perkins lovel engine. In 2 wheel drive, it'll out pull our JD of equal size. 16 speed transmission. If needed, I'd buy another. Damn good tractor and was $15,000.00 cheaper than a JD with equal options. The loader and hoe are American made. PJ

That's a great set up you have there. All you need now is a set of forks for the loader. Then there wouldn't be much, you couldn't tackle with that tractor. X2 on the pictures, great looking tractor.

PSJ, could you please post some pictures of your shed in the back ground? I'd like to see your door and how it is hinged and what lifts it up. Very interesting, what's the size of it, ( door and shed ) and how does it hold up against the wind? Thanks.

Looks like a bi fold air plane hanger door.

That's exactly what it is! 40 foot wide. Raised by a winch and cable system. Just push a button and it shuts off automatically when fully open, or closed. More expensive, the hydraulic system is also available, but doesn't work any better.
Click on link. Then click on Valu-Tec & Premier photos.
Wilson Doors | Bi-fold Doors, Aircraft Hangar Doors, Hydraulic Doors, and Bottom Rolling Doors for Aviation, Commercial, Residential, Agriculture, Industrial, and Marine Applications.
Oh, I forgot to mention, yes we have forks for it also. The loader has a Bobcat quick disconnect system. Only takes a minute to change attachments.

Biggest set of those bi fold doors I ever did was a 100 X 36. The door was raised by 2 huge electric motors mounted directly to the bottom door section that drove a shaft that ran the entire length and engaged 10 6 inch wide straps that the door climbe, plus a cable system that pulled the hinge portion of the door in and locked. I've done several 80 footers and 60 footers too. Very interesting to watch the mechanism raise and lower I tell you! If I get the chance, I'll post some pictures of a few of the hangers I built. I keep waiting for you to pull that John Deere out for some delightful photos for our viewing!

What you see in the hangar is one of the rarest JDs ever built. Built during the JDs light diesel entrance into the market place. Ford and International were selling light diesel tractors and cleaning up the market. John Deere didn't have a light diesel engine or tractor yet, so they made a deal with GM to use their 2 cyl Detroit diesel engine on this tractor, which was a 430 gas. They were only built for a short time, until JD had their own small diesel engine. Not many were built as 435s and reason for the rarity. This isn't mine, it's my sons and it's still under restoration. Needs special seat cushions for optional, original, air ride seat and original type muffler. PJ

Mighty fine piece of JD history your son has there, PSJ! He's doing a great job, by the looks of things. Please be sure to post pictures when it's completed. Thanks
