What kind of tractor for forest management/mowing,etc?

I know I have another topic about what kind of tractor but I am starting off fresh.

I need something to mow, harrows, and basically manage our forest.

I would like to get one with a front-end loader and 4wd but I don't know if that will be in my budget at the moment.

Any ideas what kind of tractor would be good for me at the moment?

If you are looking for an all-in-one, the best is a Gravely, because of the variety of attachments available, and they are HEAVY duty.

I've used a Gravely walk-behind for those duties around our tree farm. The 30" brush hog attachment helped me tame what had been overgrown for 50 years, and I continued mowing with it until I got a 40" finish mowing deck. I've created and maintained trails & gravel roads, tilled gardens and wildlife food plots with the rotary plow and finished with a cultivator. Over the years, I've added a few other pieces of equipment - including an ATV that I use to pull a cart and a York Rake - both have helped greatly with the ongoing tasks.

The Gravely walk-behinds require the operator to be in good physical condition - but with the right adapters, the same attachments can be mounted on the Gravely 4 wheel tractors. I am approaching an age where I will need to make that transition, and have started refurbishing a couple of Gravely 4 wheel tractors to keep me going forward.
