Need water pump for MT300D / Case-IH 275...

My MT300D is dumping coolant from the weep hole. I cannot find a water pump or rebuild kit anywhere. From what I can find the oem number is MM407402 and the same part for the Case/IH 275 is 1962912C1.

thanks,

I have found the same issues on differen't equipment. Can you take the pump off and pull the bearings and seal and just refurbish? I bet you can. Bearings and seals are pretty common sizes, even in metric. I have bought bearings and seals for my Honda CR 250 for $ 5.00 - $ 6.00 a piece at a bearing HQ and the Honda shop wanted $ 35.00 per piece. Well I bought them from the Honda dealer, because the orignal one lasted so long-NOT!!!!!

I've been thinking the same thing. I might as well take it apart and have a look. I hate tearing into something this old without having a replacement on hand. Right now I can use the tractor as long as I keep adding water. If I find that it's not serviceable and can't get it back together then I'll have no tractor.

And who can live without a tractor?

Better now than later if the bearing goes totally out you can mess up the housing - impeller - shaft - ect. and be in a real mess. If they don't have the bearing and seal in stock, they will usually have them the next day - no freight-COOL
