Keep Your Sky Lift On The Ice!!!
There is this camp called fort wilderness I work at during the summer. anyway in the winter the maintanance crew decided to drive out on the ice with their SKYTRAK, 14" of ice and a warm spot. the truck was supposed to lift out this wooden pole for some sled that spins around it for the junior highers up for camp to be able to play on it. the truck tried to lift it out then crack thunk it went through the ice Jim said(the man in charge of our maintanance crew and the driver of the camp's M35). James the mechanic said that the truck is still drying(it is july 9th 06 and it fell in at december 28 05). When I was working up there he let me give him a hand and fix the truck. He took a few minute cranks with 15 sec. in between and it started up. The cummings diesel sounded good and it worked great.

How did they get it out? they used a ton of cables to pull it out, dont ask me how but it was in 6-7 feet of water.
