I Love my Kids...:)

Yes..I make them mow grass. I need help and they should know how to do stuff. They rarely do it with a Happy face
They mow at too fast of a pace.(imagine that). They rarely pick up everything in the yard first,(limbs, bone from deer carcus, that the dog drags from the woods).

So is it my fault for making them mow.Or the dogs fault for leaving the bones?

Husqvarna Gtvh 205\20hp Kohler

While I worked on blade assembly. I fixed the cracks in the Hood...Of course no one knows how they got there either...

Oh...these are 20 something adults,(kids), that moved back to Big Papa's house when they didn't re-up in the Army and the other is going to college...

I wouldn't take a Million dollars for them...but I wouldn't give you 2 cents for another one!

Rocjohnson, I know what you mean, I had been on my 21 yo sons back to stop driving his car for a weekend so that I could help him (that means DAD will do it while son watches) replace the diff. he kept on and on driving the car until, you guessed it the diff seized and he snapped the tailshaft!!!!
so then it takes 5 times longer to get the car up and going, he is out of work so didn't have money to buy the parts and he couldn't buy gas, so bought the parts I put $50.00 of gas in and said " don't spend all weekend driving and using up all you gas , you need to be able to get to this course your are on next week"!

so I get home after two days working on my tractor 90 miles away and his mums car is missing. you guessed it, he is saving his gas and using hers

What do you expect Tim? Either way, you're paying his gas!

My dad tricked me into mowing the yard some 30 or so years ago - ive mowed ever since - i actually like mowing the yard, sort of a zen thing where im in my element and can chill out - heck i even mow my neighbors yard .

Everytime i go up north n visit the folks, pop always leaves me some yard to mow - im also the resident tractor repair guy when im up there , which doesnt bother me either - last time i was up i brot some parts to fix my old 92 white - a replacement front axle and a new seat - believe it or not- he has two tractors as well - always one for a backup.

Kids today are too busy texting freinds and worrying about video games to care about mowing - theyre probably breaking it on purpose to get out of mowing.

My 99 weedeater uses the same mandrels - i broke some mounting bolts off, i was able to drill em out and put new bolts in - i was sorta lucky my tractor didnt have the blades or even bolts in the mandrel ends .

Very True DangerT56...
When we were that age. My dad would inspect the grass after you said you were finished...9 times out of 10..You always had more to do. And you pulled weeds by hand. No weed-eaters or gloves....

And that my friends.....is why we will Live Forever!!
