Husqvarna Blade Height

I'm a new guy here and have Husq GTH 2654 that doesn't cut the seed stalks (tall) in the Bahai grass. The blades are set 1/2 inch above the bottom edge of the deck. Also have a 48 inch cut Snapper walk behind that has the blades set even with the bottom of the deck and it does a better job than the Husqy. My neighbor and my son have Cub Cadets with the blades set even with the bottom of the deck. Is that the problem or is it something else? These bigger mowers are new to me. I would appreciate any insight that you experts could give me.

Welcome to the Forum!..Marty..I know what you mean if the blades are set above the leading edge of the deck it doesnt cut as well. I solved this problem with mine by getting a set of aftermarket blades they set more level with the front bottom edge of the deck.
