Nice looking tractors Chip. Maybe I missed it but are there prices any where on your website? If not can you give us any idea what your prices are?

Welcome to TRACTORFORUM, my Scandanavian friend!

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate circumstances breaking the tractor.

I would like very much to see the damage if you have pictures? Maybe, by using this and other forums, we could warn others of the loader/back hoe combination that causes the basic tractor to break and fail.

Will you still use your tractor (once repaired) with the two implements attached?

Thanks for joining and I look forward to future posts…

This IS the last page of the post. It ended without a resolution. I'd still like to know what happened with the tractor.

This is merely a problem that arises from using something for something it (apparently) wasn't designed for.

It has happened to JD's and NH tractors too, I know of several of each. Not just Asian imported models either, European and North American made units suffer the same fate.

The whole thing comes down to simple physics.

If you put a loader on a tractor, the weight you pick up with it wants to pivot the back of the tractor up, using the front axle as a pivot point.

When you put a backhoe on it, the opposite happens, the load wants to lift the front end up, using the rear axle as a pivot.

When you put BOTH a loader and a backhoe on it, the 2 loads working opposite each other makes the tractor want to fold in half, halfway between the front and back axles. In that position the transmission case or bell-housing is the weakest link and when the load, or repeated stresses, exceeds the strength of the material, a break happens.

Period.

Nuff said about that one, he is with out a doudt correct. using a medium size garden tractor to do jobsite work will surely result in the above issue repeating itself.
Still wanna know what happened to it if for no other reason than that I would have loved to fix dat puppy !

Here is what happened

Haven't logged on in awhile so I just checked into this discussion. After sitting broken in half for a couple of months in my driveway I finally got a crane truck to lift the two halves of my Jinma onto a flatbed trailer. $3500 and much pain later I have my Jinma back.....much the worse for the wear. I don't trust this tractor anymore (I have had multiple failures) so now it's a pony instead of a workhorse. The dealer was little help (he offered to sell me a different make of tractror at full retail). When I can I'll get a working tractor - meanwhile I have a putt putt tractor - hayride anyone?

A friend took photos of the salvage operation - haven't had the heart to look at them.

Well if it ever breaks again, or if anyone else needs it, I have a good parts tractor that is stripped down to the rearend/t-case/transmission/engine unit in my garage that has 52 hours on it--someone over-ran the engine and the rod caps pulled off. Everything else is mint.

Keepit-tagetha, keepit-tagetha, keepit-tagetha!
