Randy said his car won't start

He asked if he could borrow the GMC. I said, NO!! Here is Randy's car after he drove it for 9 months!
Now, this car was bought from a dealer and had a 6 month warrentee! He paid $2,500

I've had the GMC for 7 years and gave $700.

I'd say Randy needs to know what TLC stands for.

He's the 19 year old that lives at the farm.

You need a truck. Especially if you're hauling that much wood.

Starter engaged while it was running. Tore up the starter drive.

While trying to replace it, I discovered that you have to pull the INTAKE to get the old one out.
You saw the pic!! No way!! I took the DeWalt and cut the bell housing so the starter could come out! There is enough 'meat' left that I saw no problem with the Modification.
Even the wires are so short that you have to take the intake off to get at them!

I cut them and splicd in enough wire that I could hook it up, then bolt it back on.

It was working fine when it left sat afternoon.

This is one of those cases that I would rather buy him a starter than loan him one of my vehicles!!

Heck, not only did you buy it, you installed it too! You and I are very much alike. I happen to hate cars and fix things like that myself! That's awesome!

The GMC escaped unscathed!!
This car is so sad that the cops stopped him that night, didn't ask for licence or nuthin'! They took a drug dog for a walk around it and let him GO!!
I guess they figured that anyone that drove a car that 'sad' was either on drugs or desperate!
Since the dog didn't 'alert', he must be desperate, and had no money for fines!!

Uhhhh, If you had witnesses to that event, I'd say that was a profiling offense. The ACLU loves stuff like that.

Monday, he shot the windows out of it with a 12 guage, then drove it to the crusher! A brand new $60. starter that I have not paid for yet was sold for $11.00 per hundred!
I'm sorry! He's on his own!
