I see. I don't follow sports at all. Any new fans to report? We're going to be adding a fan in our livingroom, and it's going to be a nice one too!

As a PSU graduate (1974) I can attest to this man's impact on the university and its students. He was a great coach and educator. I used to talk to him on occassion as he was walking home while I was walking my dog. He was a very humble and caring individual, but he was also human. We all make mistake even Joe Pa- he was verbal about his and his lack of followthrough regarding the "stain" of the Sandusky situation. It is a shame that for all the good that Joe Paternal did accomplish he will also be associated with child abuse. Rest in Peace Joe Pa.

He did many great things. Unfortunatly, he will be remembered by many as the guy that didn't blow the whistle on the assistant coach.
RIP, Joe!

I was sorry to read this. I watch a lot of football and knowing the most winning college coach died is a sad day for me.
