Ouch!!!

Yesterday on my way home from work I went to make a left turn, on yellow, and a women who was "trying to make the light" broad sided me. She hit me so hard that it put my truck on it's side, I side into the curb then into a guy in his truck waiting for the light so he could go thru the intersection. Today I'm sore, but I walked away with only a couple of fractured ribs and a broken tooth. St. Christopher was riding with me yesterday! No tractor hauling for me for a while.

Yep, I'm thinking it'a a total job. I went through a simular situation about 12 years ago. You never can rehearse these sort of things. I'm sure glad you walked away. Could have been much worse. How'd the other people come out on this?

Although the S-10 is a small truck,I think those pics show how good the engineering is,to let you come out with injuries that could have been MUCH worse!! Take care of yourself, friend.

Glad to hear you are okay! That looks like one hell of a hit. Looks like the truck did its job and protected you from most of the impact.

Man you are lucky!!! I bet she was on the phone?? After the hurting is over you can atleast get a few bucks at the yard for truck. after yopu remove any good stuff. Wheels, tailgate. S10 stuff sells good here in pa. Insurance co is not going to pay much for the truck I hope you had it towed home. If they have it. That makes it harder to get back and part it out.
Dont let it get you down. You are alive.Getting a new truck.and have a s10 you can brake up for parts.
AND YOU CANT HAUL ANY REAL TRACTOR WITH S10 ANYWAY!!
Hope you feel better and it will all work out in the end.

I own a Towing service, for over 26 years now. I have towed in many vehicals from wrecks like you were involved with. Not all folkes get out as well as you did. Im happy for you and yours that your injuries aren't real bad. Thanks for the pics, they really tell the story.

Heck, that'll buff right out.

That's a shame, looks like the little truck was still in darn good shape. Hope you get a fair shake from the insurance.

Glad to hear you came out with minor injuries..

I got rear ended back in 2007..I was driving down the Interstate going 65 when a sleeping motorist going at least 90 used me as a spring board!! I think that I saved his life as there was a curve ahead of us!! I miss my S10!!

Thank you for all the warm thoughts. I'm going to miss my truck, I spent alot of time in it. It was in good shape for a Michigan truck.

Ken your S-10 took a pretty good hit. Glad you were all right also.

Good thing you didn't have a passenger. They would be pretty much busted up real bad. What injuries did the other driver sustain?
