Us Buildings Building 20x30 For Sale!

US BUILDING $3000 20x30 MINT! On Pallet! 25YR WARRANTY
Ok, fellas! Due to my recent situation and the fact that I am rebuilding 2 homes, I have got to relocate some of my items around on my property and I have to find a suitable and loving home for my US BUILDING STEEL - GALVALUMINUM ARCH FRAME
20X30 BUILDING! It is mint stored on pallets with all parts, materials and misc pieces including plat maps, construction info and forms. I paid over $6000 for this building but it must go! I will assist in loading if locally picked up in Louisiana --- building weighs about 2500-3000 and easily fit on 16' trailer. If shipped, I will help with shipping charges to lower 48 and assist with loading if feasible. Will sell it all for $3000! Please advise ASAP on this as I now have it posted locally in classifieds around Hammond, New Orleans and Baton Rouge starting this week.
I can deliver within reasonable distance from LA on 16' trailer if needed for standard delivery rates. I will also ship to lower 48 for $3500 SHIPPED. ABSOLUTELY NO KATRINA DAMAGE. IT HAS BEEN STORED ON PALLET IN SECURE WORKSHOP.

I am located in Hammond, LA - zip code 70403

Durability
U.S. Buildings are made from the finest heavy gauge, galvalume steel available in the world.

U.S. Buildings are virtually maintenance free and come with a 25 year mill back warranty.

Precision
The precise 9” overlap of our arches places more steel at every critical connection, ensuring the best fitting arch system available.

Arches are double bolted creating a durable building that is virtually weather tight.

We use a high quality zinc chromate plated bolt with a neoprene washer for a virtually airtight seal.

Efficiency
U.S. Buildings are improved for ventilation and airflow.
Every U.S. Building can be easily insulated in order to lower heating costs.

Thanks!!!
Andy

Andy,

I'm gonna pass this on to my Dad in B.R. He's due for another storage building!

-=A=-

p.s. What kind of door(s) does it have?

Just the frame, arches, walls etc.......you build the end caps and the doors etc and frame them in yourself. It is simple and easy as there are existing supports and holes drilled to accept the frame pieces. I have seen people install a standard entry door in casing then install a dual swing metal frame door or even a nice rollup.

Let me know on this and thanks, CD.

US BUILDING

I have a 24X36 that I had shipped and assembled with my self, brother and FIL.

I hated it the first day, second day not so bad, third, fourth and last day (between rainstorms) I was very pleased with the building, engineering and ease of assembly. The most difficult part was pouring a keyway in the slab as I opted for the "Category 5" hurricane anchoring....Honestly, I don't think I'd want to be in it during a powerful hurricane, but did move many valuables in there during "Rita". I also added an entry door and a 10' roll up door.

That's a good price...wish I needed another one.

MAN! If you was closer to Nebraska, I'd have to think REAL hard about it! Don't know if the CFO would allow it, though!

That was the FIRST THING I thought of....But my building pad had to be raised 40", or 36" above the 100 year flood plane. That was nearly 400 yards of clay, crushed concrete, lime and a poured slab.... The fill and slab cost me nearly double my building.

Still...Yours is a very good price. Hmmm.....two story?....

Here is a smaller version of my 20x30 but a good example of the layout of the workshop.

Admin/Mark777,
What do you recommend as far as insulation to this building?
Can you just line the walls of the arches and what about adding skylights to the building? A buddy of mine has one of these units and he really enjoys it. I believe he has the same exact model and I know he paid about $6000 at least for it and that was quite some time ago.

LC,

Sorry, I flat don't know.

I remember talking with my initial contact from U.S. Buildings and the less interested I pretended to be, the more the price came down. I paid $8K, which included a steel endwall for free ($1100. normally).

He offered skylights, insulation, door and window options, but I declined. They have a toll free number and you can ask for their mail out pamphlet which lists all the options.

Andy

He said the same thing Chief said about the rise in oil prices. "bend over and grab your ankles". No spring project for me.
