Stator wires

The wires on my stator is all bare from age and heat . Put new ones on .Any ideas on what would be good to wrap then in to protect them from heat. The old stuff was destroyed from the heat.Maybe duck tape? Thanks

You could carefully slip the wires through fireplace door bead. It's fire proof and insulative and would provide distance from wire to heat.

I use a thing called shrink wrap... works great for covering wires near heat....
