Michigan Water usage Deadline Looming!!!!

Just a reminder for you guys lurking.

2 April 2007 is the deadline for Registration of pumps with the POTENTIAL of over 70GPM, and 2006 Water usage.

Otherwise, ya get lumped into the same pool as those on the commercial side that are required by law to Pay fees for reporting water usage annually, and face fines of $1,000 or more plus possible lock down of your irrigation.

Yeah, it's like having a gun to your head and admitting to things specificlyya never really thought about bieng specific about...

There are also ominous overtones concerning the language involved, and the requirement of "Conservation commitments and practices" that are documented.....

Fill out the forms best you can.

Include the term "Estimated" anywhere you are NOT 100% sure.

Get the stuff into Lansing and on the desks of those Tax hungry Commies, before you end up "Not Grandfathered"!!!

If there are paperwork errors, it's admin.
Ya beat the deadline.

"Lattitude and Longtitude of your well within 25'" ?

I put down "Unavailable" and referenced the House and a Tree.

When that one comes back, I am sure gonna ask for a free GPS unit to comply with the Mandated accuracy requirements, and that unit had better be calibrated, signed off on in the last 30 days, and be serviced by the state when updates are mandated!!!

There IS a Tax Looming, as well as a "Averaged" Water use per acre, for every Crop grown here.

We have given Grandmole 7 years in office to turn her Bean counters loose on the only industry in the state that is profitable...

Detroit has been bled dry, now they turn to us..

Give e'm and "Estimated Usage" you can live with in the future.
If ya don't, you will pay to do so from now on.

First ya heard of it???

Ya ain't alone.

Another Lefty Move our media never covered in complicity.

www.michigan.gov

Go to agriculture.

Look for "Water usage reporting".

Download the forms and get them in.

I am going to Register my Trash pump

Just to cause a snarl in thier Garbage criteria and cause some headaches amoung the Paper shuffling retards and useless flaps of skin that generate such controlls.

It should be entertaining to say the least.

Whatever ya do, get in under the wire of the deadline.

The State made NO EFFORT to inform Farmers, so I gotta holler here.

Best of luck!

A better link.

http://www.michigan.gov/mda/0,1607,7-125-1567_1599_29980-89234--,00.html

Notice they IGNORE all but the pumps potential, and ASSUME a guy keeps anal retentive records of water usage to be sworn as accurate and true?

This might do for controlling corporate farm operations, but Joe Farm dude??

Documentation of Concervation practices used and commitments to further practices documented?

They assume.......

This IS LAW folks.

I gotta ask WHO is going to enforce the measure, and who will be losing the farms.

The Corporate farms are covered.

Mom and Pop Farms aren't.

Does anyone here keep a daily log of water used for irrigation?

How many have a Meter on the Irrigation system as to total gallons of flow?

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Trash pump flooding a field with standing ground water from elsewhere, and a sock well?

What of our drainage runs that dump into a Drain, and get pumped back out?

Is that a well?

Dosn't matter.
They just want to register your "Assault Irrigation Pump/Well".

Register it now, so it is a "Pre-Ban" "Assault Irrigation well/Pump".

Yeah, I'm a bit torqued.

Many, if not most, are gonna get caught blind to this latest Socialist revenue producing scheme, that makes criminals out of honest Farmers, and Wards of the land.

Later, the Taxes are gonna roll in, based upon the numbers which will justify "Irresponsible use".....

Can we Re-Call the Canadian Born, Berkley educated Daughter of Marx yet????

Rant mode off....

Y'all watch your backs, your wallet, and your Farm.
There's a Coyote afoot in the Henhouse.

No way to enforce that unless your neighbor rats you out. I think I would just be quiet and not say anything or make any reports. How can they tell how much water you draw?

Chief,

Rumor is that in 2008 a Meter will be required on all Irrigation wells, and pumps, and that meter will have the ability to broadcast use, like the gas and electric meters in the citys.

For enforcement, all they have to do is conduct a "Sweep" in several communities per year.

Or fly an aircraft over a county or two to take readings.

Folks that are registered as Ag, with the State, are easy pickings.

The neighbors aren't the problem.
It's the lIberal socialists in office that drive such things.

If they have Latitude and longditude, they can eyeball the well/Pump.

Satellite imagery that is updated every 24 hours takes care of the rest.

Our Governor is a big Fan of Socialism and the "Redistribution of wealth" so it comes as little surprise.

I do wonder what the Menopausal crone is gonna do with the public relations, when folks flat refuse to pay tribute, and go to the old Shotgun when faced in real time with the matter.

It's also going to be interesting on the legal side when a County Prosecutor signs off on warrants for seizure, and the Local Sheriff
is Farm trash himself.

The Idea was from the socialist FAR left.
It was accepted by the left, and pushed through by the left.

Our Big city of Detroit is a Vaccum of souls.

At a certain point, there will be a balance struck, but it will come after several good folks get burned, and they won't be from that festering pile of Offal.

I'm of the mind that water usage to green up a Lawn should be Taxed 400,000% at a dollar a Gallon.

City folks annoy me to say the least.

The Ugly argument is Land rights.

It's a new Monkey wrench tossed into the spokes.

And it has come from the unabashed self serving socialists in the name of the "peoples Water conservation".

The end game is a data base of water usage, to show a surplus, that can be sold to the Mouthbreathing maggots on the west coast who live in a dessert and snivel about not having water.

Theprofits will go into the states coffers, that support the same subjects that tax every honest effort anyone has ever made.

I registered my Trash Pump.

It's name was "Portable Irrigation pump"

Location was listed as "Portable".

Any new system I have will be covered.

And if push come to shove, I have the second article of the Constitution, supported by section 10 of the United states code.

What bothers me deeply, is that if a Commie Sow of a Governor here, is going to these efforts, it ain't long before it spreads like cancer elsewhere.....

More good folks could be under the Gun tomorrow, if this proves profitable.

Idiocracy comes to mind.

Stay safe!
