extended the garden a little bit

I guess some of you know I rototill some of my back yard up for some Hmong people. It was 57' x 82'. Now its 70' x 82'.

A new one showed up yesterday, so I tilled her a strip 13' x 82'

I just tilled what we had a little bit wider. We have the lady next door, one three blocks away and two other ladys across town I'm not sure where they live, anyway four of them are planting stuff in it. They are all Hmong.

One of them rents some garden spots out in the country, I think she sells a lot of vegetables at the farmers market when our local stuff is in season.

I help them do the watering on occasion, like today I set up a couple of sprinklers for about 8 hours then I hand watered the edges for a couple hours this evening.

Its good for an older person like myself to get out and do something.

When the plants get bigger I'll get a video or two.

Sounds like a nice concept. Do you charge them or just get free produce?

What do they mainly plant?

One of them put in a lot of tomato plants, she has to be selling them at the farmers market, and thats a good thing for her to earn some money.

I got a few tomatoes last year, but there other stuff I don't really care about.

Actually I don't know what there planting, I have tried getting them to explain it and thats a whole different deal.

I don't charge them anything, we just help them out.

My wife and I get out of these computer chairs and go out by the gardens, and thats a good thing also.

We enjoy them, they are real trustworthy people.
