The engine's rated at a whopping 5hp @ 3600. The max torque is at 2600 rpm's, the governor's currently set at 2800 rpm's. It doesn't sound like much but it's pulled everything I've hooked to it so far plus it's very fuel efficient.

Thanx guys
The engine came out of an old highway arrow board. The tractor was given to me.
I don't have any attachments for it, just use it to pull a cart, spreader, aerator and some of my bigger hit & miss engines at the shows.

My Horses
A little late getting in here, but here are my horses.
My "built from scratch" 1977 B-100
My 1977 B-100 worker
Recently acquired 1976 B-100, being restored at the moment
1966 856, runs great, as found, restoration to begin in the fall.
Thanks for looking. Hope to see you at the 2011 Wheel Horse Collectors Club show in Arendtsville, PA, June 24 & 25.

Nice group of Wheel Horses. Let me know where or if you find a source for the 5.5in wide front tires. I need new tires for my Raider 12. I'm thinking of finding some narrow wheels and going with 4.80x8 tires.

I love my Wheelhorse, it is a 1986 model 418. My neighbors think it is a clunker, but little do they know, my Wheel Horse does a better job than there new tractors. LOL

Here is a picture of our first Wheel Horse. It is a 1967 857. This little thing ina pulling ANIMAL!!! Our first pull we had an issue with the detent screw for the shfter. After we fixed that the litte monster would pull in the 850 turf, 950 turf/bar, and the 1050 bar 14hp and under stock classes. Never won but placed 4th many times. Not bad for our first year pulling.

I've only seen a couple of'em an they was more or less junk that didn't run anymore.
I got this one for next to nothing because the tranny had went out an locked up the wheels. Took the tranny apart an found that it just needed a little short drive chain that had broke inside of it. I think it cost me 12-15 bux in all to get it running good, and another $100 for paint, new gas tank, and some bearings for the frt wheels.
It was mowing when it quit last spring, an they was the original owners. 29 or 30 years without anything but oil an air filter changes is pretty dang good in my book.
Heck they had even just put new blades on it.
It is a sweet little mowing machine, but I wanted to fix it for her to ride in the parade here an the tractor shows we go to.

I have been doing Wheel Horses for about 6 or 7 years now and nothing else compares to them. They are the easiest to work on and they were built to last forever. There is nothing like a Red Horse! I have more pictures than I can put up here so go to a website I have. HTTP//cowboysredhorses.webs.com ENYOY!

I mentioned earlier in the thread ( i think) i have a lone '69 raider 10 - mine was too far gone to save, PO beat the daylights out of it - if it had the deck and was more complete - id of restored it - instead, rare or not , im going the mod route with it.
Keeping the stock rusty sheetmetal ( everything from the chassis up- steering wheel im not sure about tho- its bent), mounting it on a lowered , modifed MTD chassis - itll be a rat rod wheelhorse when its done.
When i get a chance to work on it- that is...
