Here is what I learned about the bar rebuild in addition to panicbutter's almost thorough walkthrough.
I suggest you review the original post by panicbutter to get a run down of the general idea of the job.

I feel like it is important to record for posterity some of the part #'s and sizing because it can be damn difficult to figure what and where to buy. Here goes.
The teeth are JD duratwin, nominally, the part # is H153329 for fine tooth and H163131 for course teeth.
The metal on these teeth is damn hard. I got a cobalt steel bit to countersink the holes and it would barely graze the metal and the bit is thrashed too. I would suggest finding a tungsten drill bit or countersink or something similar. The way I was able to countersink the holes was with a tungsten dremel tip and about two hrs of free time.
A tungsten dremel tip was able to countersink the holes on these teeth effectively.
In order to mount the teeth you have to cut them down to size. You don't need a plasma cutter for this. An
angle grinder and a cut off wheel works great. I used a piece of wood to guide the cut with the tooth in a vise. That worked well.
I mounted the teeth with a
5mm countersunk machine screw and nut and then ground the remainder of the screw off.
I secured them with locktite.
The hole size on the bar is 5mm, if you want to go the rivet way, you will need 5mm rivets.
So those are a few specifics, I will post pictures of what I am talking about.
I didn't modify the bar. I used every other hole and it seems sturdy. Recommend checking that every screw is tight after first use.
